From the outset, Reisman shows her refined and playful ear for language. As a pair of survivors emerge from the wreckage of the flood, so vividly depicted on Steve Schepker's eerily realized set strewn with debris, their dialogue has a poetic flow as lines gently overlap and complement each other.
An evocative set by Steve Schepker features piles of flood-ravaged rubble and refuse, scattered tree limbs and even a wooden coffin littered among the debris.
